PCB officials are all heads down to shuffle cards in order to pick a trial case for one day format. In fact board it self is divided as more than half members are of the reckon that Azhar ali should continue as Captain for the upcoming series where as just less than half number of board members are in favor of placing Sarfraz Ahmed as Captain for one day format as he is already holding the feather in T20 format. His aggression , dominating personality, confidence and positiveness all lifting him up and making him a strong contestant to hold this responsibility. How ever decision is still pending as board itself is split on the subject.
Where as , Wicket keeper-batsman Sarfraz Ahmed says it is an honour to be sworn in as the captain of the Pakistan T20I team. And if board feels me capable enough to hold another feather i will cordially accept the challenge as its always been a proud to serve my nation in any capacity. Sarfraz says,
“I am happy to have this opportunity and I am honored that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has trusted my ability to lead the country,” Sarfarz told cric info “Indeed, this is a challenging job but at the same time, it’s the highest privilege in a cricketer’s life, so I am determined to do my best to justify my position as captain. I didn’t make any future plan, but I will sit down with the PCB and will talk about it in due course.”
